Plugin Installation (Recommended)

Download the plugin and install it like any other WordPress plugin.

Manual Installation (Alternative)

If you prefer not to use the plugin, you can add Trackveil tracking code manually:

1. Go to Appearance → Theme Editor
2. Select your theme
3. Open header.php
4. Find the </head> tag
5. Paste your tracking code just before it
6. Click Update File

Alternative: Use a code injection plugin like "Insert Headers and Footers" to add the tracking code without editing theme files.

Dashboard Widget

The plugin automatically creates an API key and displays analytics in your WordPress admin dashboard:

• Today's page views and unique visitors
• Current visitors (live count)
• Top 5 pages from last 7 days
• Link to full Trackveil dashboard
• Stats cached for 5 minutes (minimal API usage)

The widget works for all plan tiers (Free, Premium, Peak). If you're on the Free plan and exceed 1,000 visits, the widget will show an upgrade prompt.
